ĐỤRIAN (Durian & Avocado)

ĐỤRIAN is a tropical gourmand that celebrates the king of fruits: durian! Even though it is known as king, I like to say it is the most punk of all fruits. It's spikey and refuses to conform to what society expects it should be. I knew I had to highlight durian in a composition ever since I launched Black Dog since I heard many conversation around me about the smell of this fruit note. Many love it and many hate it. I have been told that it is an inherently bad smell and even though I know it is banned in many hotels in Asia.. I never thought it smelled bad. Of course over riped and spoiled durian in the heat smells bad but I think any fruit would in those cases. When I looked into the gcms data of the odor I noticed that it shared many common scent molecules as other fruits that people love but the scent is so concentrated that it scares people. This
