Jade Phoenix [Mint, Rose & Frankincense]

OLFACTIVE NOTES: TOP: Green Oil, Valencia Orange HEART: Rose, Patchouli, Frankincense  BASE:  Sandalwood, Golden Amber WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT? Jade Phoenix is my personal project to rewrite "self-hate" GREEN OIL accord is inspired by Green Eagle Oil which is a medicinal oil rub that smells like tigerbalm without the camphor.  My family used this whenever we are sick, have headaches, arthritis, any ailments really.. I associated with being weak and old but one day I saw those outside my culture say how much they love the scent.  They see the green oil as something beautiful.  This was mind blowing for me at the time and I wanted to redo my memory and associations with it by working with the accord directly. I used Menthol, Wintergreen, Eucalyptus, and Rose as the main accord that is used in green oils that my family used.  I wanted to add texture using used Resins, Sandalwood, Frankincense, and Valencia Orange to incorporates golden shine to represent the phoenix being reborn.   It became
