JASMINE RICE [White Rice & Jasmine Tea]

Jasmine Rice is an amber rice scent with a floral shade of tea.  Jasmine rice is a staple in every Vietnamese household and I wanted to create a composition that celebrates it.  This scent encapsulates a nostalgic experience of coming home to the smell of freshly cooked jasmine rice alongside brewed black tea.   The jasmine rice is from tinctures I make myself and it comes through as a comforting warm fuzzy texture that I is so addictive.  I use rice tincture a lot in many composition and the first time I included it in a piece is when I was created Alter Oud (which was nominated for an award, yay!)  For Jasmine Rice I wanted this scent to be a different experience so I included materials that are grown in Vietnam that I got when I visited my perfumer friend Sy in Saigon last year.
