Artist Statement The Savior instructed the ruler Nicodemus on the true nature of His Messianic role when He declared, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved." I enjoy the opportunity to reflect on the miracle of the condescension of our Savior. And on the unique courage of the many individuals in His life that valiantly stepped into their special roles in the history of humanity.
