The artist in the painting is aspiring upward to receive inspiration from the muses in order to create something divine. I love how the two tone frame turned out, as well as the custom holly stencil that I cut out specifically for this project. Covering the entire background first in gold leaf gave it an immediate ethereal and atmospheric bling. This monumentally sized piece reminds me of an ancient Latin saying, “Ars Longa, Vita Brevis or Life is short, Art is long.”
