SCAD Heart Bracelet
Nov 23 is the deadline for ordering a SCAD Heart Bracelet for arrival before Dec 25 (or for Dec 14 for Hanukkah) 25% of the purchase price will be donated to SCAD Alliance, Inc to help it continue to fund research into SCAD heart attacks. This cuff bracelet honors the SCAD survivor as well as their loved ones and allies who have all been affected by a Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD). The open heart design has several meanings. It can represent the torn coronary artery of a SCAD, as well as the benefits of having/keeping an open heart to fill with love and gratitude. The bracelet is handmade from sterling silver and copper. I hand-saw, hammer, file, solder and polish each piece. The cuff is about 11/16" wide and 6 “ in length with about a 1” opening. It can be opened a little or squeezed a little to fine tune the fit.
