This is a drawing I made of the anatomy of the finger. You can see a lumbrical muscle and made the associated finger tendons ropes! I remember my anatomy prof in grad school talking about how special the lumbricals are because they can flex AND extend finger joints at the SAME TIME. I always thought of them as a rope and pulleys, and finally decide to draw it. Enjoy! This piece would be a wonderful gift for orthopedic surgeons or anatomy enthusiasts! © 2024 Lyon Road Art.
