PRODUCT DETAILS Description SONIC I2C Unit is an ultrasonic distance sensor module that utilizes the I2C interface for communication. This allows for easy integration into I2C-based systems and enables the operation of multiple sensors using a single bus, optimizing I/O resource usage.The module is equipped with an RCWL-9620 ultrasonic distance measurement chip and features a 16mm probe. The ranging accuracy of the sensor can reach from 2cm to 450cm, with an accuracy level of up to ±2%. This level of precision makes it suitable for applications that require accurate distance measurements.By using the I2C interface, the module simplifies the integration process and eliminates the need for complex wiring. With multi-sensor operation on a single bus, it optimizes resource usage and facilitates scalability in systems that require multiple distance measurements.SONIC I2C Unit is an ideal choice for robotics obstacle avoidance, where it can be used to detect objects within a certain range and enable navigation and path planning.
