Hold the tool firmly, release the lock lever, and depress the throttle lever to start the tool. 2. Place the Guide Plate on the workpiece, and slowly pull the tool towards you or push it forward to introduce the indexable inserts to the material. 3. While chamfering the inner hole holding the Guide Bearing against the workpiece, move the tool in a clockwise motion. (Fig. 1) 4. While chamfering the outer diameter holding the Guide Bearing against the workpiece, move the tool in a Counterclockwise motion. (Fig. 2)
