For application in the beverage industry, these adjustable pressure relief valves, widely known as Spunding Valves, are used to manually control and maintain a set pressure ina fermenter in order to naturally carbonate your product without theingress of oxygen. j The Poly (methyl methacrylate), or PMMA, cup holds sanitizer to let carbon dioxide release while keeping the fermentation process 100% sanitary. PMMA is a transparentthermoplastic that is chemical resistant and heat resistant.
