World's Endangered Species Map

In celebration of Earth Day, introducing MAD Map's new Endangered Species Wall map, featuring "Species We Can Save with Change". All over the world, the lives of animals are drastically changing for a number of reasons, many of which are human-induced. As a result, more and more animals are finding themselves cornered into smaller habitats than they have ever historically occupied. Some are in fierce competition for resources in the overdevelopment that has transformed the places they once called home. Some of these animals may be the last of their kind. Fortunately, many of the ill effects we have brought upon our planet and its animals can be reversed. The air can be cleaned, the water can be made clear, and the land can be restored. Diligent efforts are being made around the world to promote the conservation of land and animals, establish sustainable living practices, and prevent the black-market trade in wildlife.
