MadScientistAuto Pricing and shop structure

      All work is $200 per hour by the hour labor + parts and tax (where applicable) with a 1 hour shop minimum regardless of task.  As for parts, we sell all major brands. I will charge an hour labor for estimates where you want an itemized deal emailed to you, and this hour will come off the total if you choose to make a purchase/continue forward with the project. I can also waive this fee at my discretion. Estimates for custom work are very time consuming, I hope you understand im not here to build you a list of stuff to buy elsewhere.  I will build a parts list for your project but I no longer quote labor beyond the obvious.  Quoting labor just doesn't work.  It is not accurate enough and I will no longer eat or discount my time when I am wrong.  I expect my clients to hold me to a standard that I am honest and will charge accordingly.  Meaning, I will not bill you for time that is not billable.  This is the only way a custom automotive shop can keep its doors open.  I enjoy open c
