Antique Bicycle Shop Glass Paperweight with Photograph | Memphis

Here we have a very rare piece of bicycling and Memphis Tennessee history. The glass paperweight contains a phenomenal interior photograph of a bicycle and repair shop from the early 1900s. Well, if you want a historic way to hold down your pile of papers, I know the artifact I’m going to reach out and snatch. What a scene! Love the gents standing amongst the glory of the classic early days of bicycling. And they aren’t terribly impressed. All of the ingredients mix into an epic experience.  The rare antique glass paperweight was found in an abandoned mansion in southern Illinois. How it got there, well never know.
