Here we have a stunning folk art boot jack carved in the form of a grinning devil. I've seen a couple boot jacks along my path, and this one took the cake and ate it too. I can't get over the sliced screw eyes. Talk about a perfect fit. Full octane sinister vibe, and I love it. The ridges in the horns tell it's age.....ahem. Maybe not, but they are wicked.  The unusual beast of a piece comes out of a prominent folk art collector's personal collection. I was told it was likely made in the very early 1900s.  The rare antique folk art measures 15 1/2" long, 4" wide and 3" deep at the deepest point. There is perfect patina from age throughout. It's a solid piece and its very tactile. Please see all pictures as they are part of the description.  I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the stunning folk art piece.  The Screwtape Letters, indeed. Unreal Americana folk art.
