Here we have a rare Civil War set of dominoes from both the Union and Confederate sides. I can just imagine an intense game of dominoes during the respite of war, If only this set could talk. I'm sure you'll hear wild stories from both sides, as well as the pains of losing your pay for the week. A treasure treated by the decades.  Union dominoes typically had three brass pins. Confederate dominoes often had only one central pin due to metal shortages in the South. They would generally be considered rarer than Union dominoes due to the limited resources in the South during the war.This difference can help identify the origin of the dominoes.
