1oz Mullein/Comfrey Tincture

Mullein also known by its scientific name as [Verbascum thapsus] is a fuzzy leafed biennial. It only produces leaves in its first year of growth, but in its second year does produce a spike with beautiful dense yellow flowers. Although most consider this plant a weed, it has many great qualities and can be used as an extract, tincture, brewed or even made into a syrup. Mullein is considered to be a gentle herb that can potentially help with mucus and also to help sooth coughs & congestion and help with seasonal allergies!**   Comfrey also known by its scientific name as [Symphytum]. It loves to grow in damp grassy soils. It has very distinct bell shaped flowers and large angular hairy leaves. Comfrey is mostly known for its topical help, but we like to add it in as a soother to this tincture. Comfrey has qualities that are known to help relieve pain, reduce inflammation & speed up healing times!**   At Madam Organics, we do grow some of our Mullein & Comfrey, we also source
