Bobcat at the Pool - (Part of Diana's Collaboration series with Thomas Wiewandt) Whenever I have been fortunate enough to see a bobcat in the wild, I feel privileged. Some have been as close as my front porch, but sightings are rare, and it's difficult to get a great reference photo for painting. Thomas took this remarkable picture of a bobcat drinking at his pool while shooting footage for "Desert Dreams," and as soon as I saw it, I knew I wanted to paint it. — Diana Madaras
