Five Stone 1.1 ctw Old European Cut 18k Yellow Gold Ring

18K YELLOW AND WHITE GOLD GRADUATED 5-STONE DIAMOND BAND Vintage, handmade, 18K white and yellow gold, cathedral-style band, with Old European and Early Round Brilliant/Transitional cut diamonds. The diamonds graduate in size and are individually set in multi-prong white gold baskets which span a total of 17.92mm across the finger, with a 4.37mm rise. The band measures approximately 2.01mm at the base of the shank, reverse tapering to 1.27mm at the shoulder. It weighs 2.50 grams; fits size 5.75, and is sizable. Hallmarked with a crown symbol and "750" stamp denoting 18K gold assayed post 1973, followed by an unreadable assay office stamp, and the italic uppercase letter "N", denoting the mounting itself was registered in 1987. The "EWA" trademark can also be found on the item. In good condition, with a small girdle chip on the center diamond.
