IN PERSON LESSON: How to use a sewing machine

Thanks!! Want to learn how to sew but don't know where to start? Do you have a sewing machine, but are just too busy or intimidated to open the box? Used to sew once upon a time, but now you've forgotten everything?  Bring your machine* and manual into the studio for a 2-hour beginner sewing lesson (or refresher!) with Rae and learn what all those knobs and buttons do, how to thread the machine properly and try out some of your machine's stitch options.  Taught by Rae Hoekstra at her studio in downtown Ann Arbor, this private lesson will walk you through the basics of how your machine works - threading, adjusting tension, and other technical questions; you may even leave with a small project if time allows!
