Kids Camp: Fashion Design

Ooooo, we are changing it up this year! We have created our own little Mini Made Fabric Store for our Fashion Design students! This year we have the same fun but have added a great twist: Providing a place for the kids to "shop" for their own fabric instead of us choosing for them. So...It's that time again to get your little fashion designers back in the studio (or for the first time) to make their own unique creations! In this signature three-day sewing camp, they learn the fundamentals of fashion design, sewing techniques, and fashion illustration, and then they will use that knowledge to design and sew their very own fashion! Day One: We draw, design, fabric shop, and draw some more! Through the use of magazines, everyday objects, nature, and walking through our community, the students will each make a mood board to help them design their fashion collection.
