Opaqa Honduran Splendor, Organic Specialty Coffee is a single-origin gem from the highlands of Santa Rosa, Honduras. About fifteen years ago, 62 farmers came together to form COMSA (Café Orgánico Marcala, S.A.). They transformed their farms from conventional to organic production and earned Fair Trade certification in 2006. Premium funds now support schools, teacher salaries, and community kitchens that provide meals for local children. This coffee thrives in dark, nutrient-rich rainforest soil, naturally nourished by surrounding vegetation. The result is a clean, vibrant cup: silky milk chocolate and roasted almond balanced with a bright spark of lemon.
