The MTL6 is Madman's own temperature sensor made in-house. This sensor is used for surface temperature measurements and is bolted to the surface. The MTL6 has an 6mm (Slightly smaller than 1/4") hole. It is NOT compatible with EMS1 and 2 The sensor is supplied with a 2 meter (6ft 6") harness. The red wire is NOT used and need not be connected.
