Pattern will differ from mat to mat based on the nature of wallpaper repeats and scale of pattern. 11x14 with 8x10 rectangle opening or 8x10 with 5x7 rectangle opening mats tend to have the smallest frame of pattern due to the width. Oval mats are intended for oval silhouettes, and the scale of  rectangle silhouettes are not guaranteed to fit inside.
