She was sweet and innocent but wild and uninhibited, to my surprise. I couldn’t get enough of her, and I wanted to keep pleasing her.  Once outside, I jumped in the water, and my body took delight in the cool temperature. I swam laps, back and forth, my mind in more motion than my body. I have to see her again. My mind raced about how I needed to make sure she wouldn’t go back to her side of the hotel, and that would be it. I wondered if she, like me, wanted to see where this could go. She was fresh out of a breakup, but she sounded adamant that it had been over for a while. I prayed she wouldn’t make that a reason she couldn’t continue to see me.  I hadn’t put my heart out there...not since Kelly. There wasn’t anyone I would have even considered seriously dating. But Maddie was like no other woman I knew, and if she slipped through my fingers, I would officially be the biggest idiot on earth. I hardly knew her, but I knew that in my gut.
