Escape the Lace

A clear piece of plastic with holes across its center is inserted in an upright frame so that the holes in the plastic line up with the holes in the frame. A shoe lace is then threaded thru the holes in both the frame and the plastic. Now, while a member of the audience holds both ends of the shoe lace, the plastic is instantly pulled free of the frame and your spectator is left holding the two ends of the shoe lace, which is still threaded securely thru the crossbar of the frame!!!An exciting routine that seems to be impossible. Easy to do, light to carry, suitable for close up and parlor use, for the bar, and small stage use.
