  First Chair Professional Oboe Reeds: Handmade Best Quality Oboe Reeds. Your Choice Of Premium Rouche Or Vic Cane (M-MH/Regular Density). All-Weather.  First Chair Professional Oboe Reeds are handmade from scratch. Reeds have a beautiful tone, medium resistance and are well balanced for pitch and stability. They are made with my my choice of two brands of cane purchased in 2019 from the Frejus region of France. This choice gives me flexibility to achieve best results at any point in time. They both have regular density, but differ in strength range. They include Rouche (M-MH/turquoise thread)or Vic (M-H/maroon thread) cane. The Rouche brand is scarce and no longer available in tube form from the grower. Cane and reeds go through continuous quality sorts, including for professional aperture size.  Professional and Elite models. Elite models offer extra nuance and an additional quality sort.
