Hoya pubicalyx Hoya pubicalyx is a vigorous vining plant with deep green lanceolate leaves, eager to climb up a trellis or cascade gracefully over the sides of its pot.  Its leaves are often mottled with flecks of silvery variegation, and depending on how much light it receives, the stems can take on shades of purple.   Once a Hoya starts to put on flower buds do not disturb it, and after it has bloomed don't remove the spent flowers. Allow the dead flowers to fall off on their own.  This interesting plant doesn't like to be repotted unless it's absolutely necessary.  Hoya Basic Care: Medium Light: This plant prefers bright, indirect light and needs at least some natural light so place it somewhere with windows nearby. Water:  Treat it like a succulent—allow the soil to dry out completely between watering. Soil/Drainage: This plant needs a well-draining soil mix. Temperature/Humidity: Normal household temperatures are acceptable. Higher humidity is preferred but not essential. Order
