Each piece is shaped by hand and adorned with raised botanical and folkloric elements—moths, moons, florals and ferns, and other woodland forms—bringing a quiet, grounded presence to any space. Fired in my beloved and magical Skutt 818 kiln to over 2200°F, the stoneware is fully vitrified for strength and durability. Finished with food-safe glazes, these vessels are both functional and enduring. No two are exactly alike—variations in form, carving, and glaze make each planter a one-of-a-kind piece.
