Beam Me Up, Please

This is a landscape with poppies in the foreground, and a large tree with swirling skies. Things aren’t always what they seem. Almost hidden is the woman happily being pulled into the UFO. She’s fine with it. She’s clearly had enough. I sewed the landscape together with my sewing machine and then added lots of hand stitching to embellish. I quilted it onto the artist’s canvas, size 22”x 28”x 1.5”
