Thomas Jefferson Porter Recipe Kit, 5 Gallon Batch

Much different from most modern porters (like our Mt Jefferson) above, this is based upon old-style American porters, where the malting conditions were not precise, and the beers frequently had a deep, bitter burnt flavor. This is a very flavorful, roasty "stouty" porter, excellent for those that like a little more bite in their beers. We will crush all the grains, unless otherwise requested at checkout. Recipe kits do not come with grain socks/hop socks, or corn sugar for bottling.
