Winter 2 (5 Week Class): Handbuilding for Adults

Registration for winter clay classes opens on our website on Monday, November 17 at 9:00 am.  Handbuilding Wednesdays 10 am - 1 pm, Jan. 28 - Feb. 25 Cost: $200 Explore creating functional and sculptural forms using various handbuilding techniques, including pinching, slabs and coiling. Beginning or intermediate students are welcome in this class. Winter classes meet once a week for either 5 or 10 weeks at our studio in downtown Kimball MN, 70 Main Street South. Adult class registration includes: class instruction, clay, open studio access outside of class time, access to our common tools, pottery wheels, ware racks, slips, glazes, bisque and glaze firing. Students in five week classes receive 12.5 lb of clay with the class and 12"x24" of kiln space in the glaze firing. Students in ten week classes receive 25 lb of clay with the class and 24" x 24" of kiln space in the glaze firing. Students aged 16 and up can register for adult classes.
