Bethany Beach Sunrise

It is October and the crowds have gone. The weather is cool, but it is still a wonderful time to go to the beach. Many of the stores have closed and you have to eat at the local eateries rather than the beach-centric shoppes. The sunrises are still magnificent and the dolphins play in the calm tide. I love going to the beach in off season. On this trek, the weather was spectacular for the first two days. The third and fourth day had a big blow that ate away at the beach with twenty foot waves. It doesn't matter to me. I am out there in any weather.   Artist: Paul Rose
