The 1888 is a blend of Brugal's Dominican rums aged between five and fourteen years. Twice distilled and twice aged, the final product has rested horizontally in charred oak and sherry casks. Extremely smooth and sweet with light spices and smoke. Aging brings out deep caramel and vanilla tones with faint spice. Finish is long and mellow.
