The artist worked with motifs such as a quiet and dark dawn, dimly lit trees, moss, rocks and water, and moonlight reflected on them. The texture expressed with rough brushstrokes gives off an image of an unfamiliar dawn. On the contrary, the small light shining in the darkness of dawn is depicted in silver, subtly capturing the beauty of the light that shines more as the darkness deepens.
