NEHALEM TEDDY LULU AVIATOR JACKET

This USA-made wool saddle blanket is inspired by the rich landscape and lore of Oregon’s Pacific Coast, drawing from the many meanings of Nehalem, its town, river, bay, and park. Large oval motifs reflect the ebb and flow of the tides in Nehalem Bay, a place long known for crabbing, fishing, and clamming. Triangular tree-like forms reference the forested bike and equestrian trails found throughout Nehalem State Park, while repeated “X” motifs nod to legends of buried Spanish treasure on Neahkahnie Mountain. Together, the design weaves together movement, landscape, and myth into a bold yet balanced composition.
