Sewing III: Persephone Pant (VIRTUAL)
Based on photographs of men's 1920s-'40s US navy sailor pants, the Persephone Pants are a flattering and unique addition to your wardrobe! These pants are unique in that they do not contain side seams--each leg is cut from one piece. With stylish details such as a high waist, front inseam pockets, and two back waist-shaping darts, this pattern is a perfect excuse to try out the cropped, wide leg pant trend. Along with learning how to read and cut out a pattern, you'll get experience constructing belt loops, buttonholes, and pockets. Pattern includes a high rise, cropped, wide leg pant that hits a couple of inches above the ankle.
