NKD Stainless Slotted Screws for Blade Blanks- 1/4"

Nordic Knife Design  Stainless Slotted Screws NKD is a Finnish knife company well known for producing high quality blade blanks and finished knives. Dimensions: Open 18 mm (0.7") Closed 12.7 mm (1/2") Head diam 6.3mm (0.248") Cylinder diam 4.6 mm (0.181") Head thickness 2.5 mm (0.1") Cylinder lenght 7.5 mm (0.3") These slotted 2 piece screws are specifically sized to fit into the tang holes for the NKD blade blanks with 4.7mm(.185") tang holes. They will also fit into any Brisa blanks with the same sized tang holes. These screws are intended as an alternative for using Corby Bolts with these blade blanks as they have the same head and barrel diameters as Corbies do.  You will need to use the 1/4" solid counterbore with pilot for Corby Bolts to counterbore the hole for the head and shaft.  You may also find it useful to use these screws on your handles while shaping and working on the handle in case you need to remove it for any reason before finishing at which point you can repla
