Pyrite, also known as "Fool's Gold", is an iron sulfide that has a shiny, metallic gold luster. This particular pyrite (Cocada pyrite) is from Peru and is known for its superior, metallic luster. Pyrite sourced from this region is widely regarded as some of the highest quality pyrite in the world. This crushed pyrite has a brilliant sparkle and is very clean with no impurities.
