This classic turquoise is sourced from the Kingman Mine in Arizona, which is one of the most productive and oldest turquoise mines in the United States. This mine is located in the Acerbate Mountains and has been commercially mined since the late 1880's. Kingman turquoise is known for its many variations of blues and blue-greens and has superior color when wet or sealed with an adhesive. This premium Kingman turquoise is a natural, unstabilized stone, meaning it has not undergone any treatments to enhance its hardness or color. It is characterized by its beautiful blue hues that range from light to deep blues. MATERIAL SIZE Our powdered material, consisting predominantly of silt and clay sized particles (<0.25mm), has a subtle gritty texture. Powdered minerals are great for filling in small cracks or voids, orgonite pyramids, resin molds, memorial and resin jewelry, ring inlay, resin art, and creating textured paints and pigments. MINERAL PROPERTIES Mohs’s Hardness: 4 Specific Gr
