Crushed Rainbow Moonstone Powder (Grade A) from India, Fine Crush (<0.25mm) for Inlay, Resin Art, or Metaphysical Applications
Rainbow moonstone is a type of white feldspar that can have bright flashes of iridescent blue. This optical effect is due to light waves interacting within the crystalline lattice and this "play of light" is called the schiller effect. This particular rainbow moonstone is from India and is grade A material. Unfortunately, the moonstone flash is not preserved when the mineral has been progressively pulverized into tiny pieces. Our powdered material consists of mostly silt and clay sized particles. Our powders do have a slight grit to them. Please see the corresponding sediment size chart.
