Crushed Pink Rhodochrosite Chips from Argentina, Pea-Sized Gravel (2mm-4mm)
Rhodochrosite is a rare, manganese-carbonate gemstone that commonly has alternating light and dark bands of pink and brown. Rhodochrosite is formed by continuous precipitation of manganese carbonate, similar to cave formations with stalactites and stalagmites on the roof and floor of a cavern. This mineral is relatively soft, with a Moh's hardness between 3.5 and 4. This material is from Argentina, which is a world-class location for rhodochrosite deposits. Our coarse material is considered to be pea-sized gravel, ranging between 4 millimeters to 2 millimeters. Please see the corresponding sediment size chart.
