Cast Acrylic (PMMA) Sheet Description This is translucent (near opaque) bright white acrylic. Opaque acrylic sheets are solid color materials with varying degrees of light transmission. Without the aid of a light source, you are not able to see through opaque colored acrylic. Cast Acrylic Sheet is a rigid plastic panel made from polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA). Some of the registered trademarks under which acrylic is sold are Plexiglas™ (Arkema) and Lucite™ (Lucite International / DuPont).  Our acrylic comes with a paper or plastic film applied to both sides of the material.
