Pastel Cast Acrylic (PMMA) Sheet Description This is pastel light pink cast acrylic. Pastel sheets are soft in color with a matte finish on one side and a smooth glossy reverse side.  Pastel colored sheets are nearly opaque so they provide some light transmission but obscure objects behind it.  The matte finish on one side helps reduces material scratching and finger prints, and provides excellent light diffusion.  Cast Acrylic Sheet is a rigid plastic panel made from polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA). Some of the registered trademarks under which acrylic is sold are Plexiglas™ (Arkema) and Lucite™ (Lucite International / DuPont).  Our acrylic comes with a paper or plastic film applied to both sides of the material.
