THURSDAY Kids Beginner 1 Sewing 4:30 - 6:00, January - May 2026 For kids age 8 and up (must be at least 8 when the semester starts). Begins the week of January 26. Ends the first week of May. Minimum class size is 6. We may cancel if there aren't enough students (so tell your friends!). BEGINNER STUDENTS: Each new student will begin the semester by learning how to thread and use a sewing machine. From there they will learn to sew straight lines, iron seams, cut simple patterns, use a seam allowance, and so much more. We try to finish at least 7-9 projects each semester*. Students will work at their own pace but we will cover a lot of ground and have a lot of fun! Planned projects (subject to change).  *Every child works and learns at a different pace so we can't guarantee each child will finish every planned project.
