MAKO ACM Panel

Our flagship ACM panel with hand applied painting ground, textured and burnished. Available with oil ground or acrylic gesso. Hand finished to a surface approved by the MAKO artist team, these panels have the right amount of drag, texture, and absorbency to create a dynamic and luminescent painted surface- whether your painting is one layer or twelve. Although just 1/8", they are still remarkably rigid. This now common substrate is made up of two sheets of aluminum, sandwiching a 100% recycled polyethylene core.    As one of our MAKO artists remarked: "There's nothing else like this on the market".
