The LED is cool white with approximately 5500K CCT.  The exact model of the LED is a trade secret.  Please read the "Things to Know Before Purchase" section before purchasing this head.   Things to Know Before Purchase: If You Hunt Predators at 100 to 200 Yards, this is the Head for you!   This Head is Designed for Maximum Reach in a Small Format.  If You are a White Wall Hunter, This is NOT the Head For You (it does not have a beautiful, symmetrical beam on a white wall). Our replacement head requires that the threads on your body be bare metal.  Some earlier Surefire bodies did not have bare threads.  If this is the case with your body, you will need to clean the anodize off of the threads.
