But in the moment He did this and breathed His last breath on the cross, the veil separating the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies (Exodus 26:31-33, 2 Chronicles 3:14) TORE (Matthew 27:51, Mark 15:38, Luke 23:45), symbolizing the fact that Jesus unveiled our previously obstructed access to God: we now have direct access to God through Jesus, THE High Priest.
