A 2.5-ring cheekpiece is a milder version of a 3-ring (Pessoa) cheekpiece. This cheekpiece can be used to create a leverage effect. The lower the reins are placed, the more direct the bit becomes. Compared to the 2,5 Eggbut, the loose rings can move loosely, allowing more movement in the bit and a more indirect effect of the hand’s help. The pressure point lies on the poll, just behind the ears. The leather is stitched manually around the reinforced nylon core and istanned without chemicals. Also, the round construction is unique. Saliva makes the leather mouthpiece soften, after which it forms to the horse’s mouth.  The flexible effect in combination with the taste of the leather makes the bit extremely suitable for horses with sensitive mouths.
