I created these cards when I was transitioning into single motherhood. Dinner time used to be my favorite family-connection time. But, as a single parent, it became too hard for me to do dinners in this new dynamic. It was filled with grief and big feelings. The physical demands of the witching hour and getting dinner ready simultaneously felt hard. It was easy for me to let my kiddos eat wherever, whenever, even in front of the tv 📺 (Which is something I vowed NEVER to do!) I was feeling disconnected from my family and myself. I knew I needed to do something to RECLAIM our connection but I wasn’t sure how. I set out to find something that would help. And then I MADE it. I created this tool to be a PlayFULL ritual - that helped us reclaim our MAGIC and reconnect. I LOVE my Table Talk Connection Cards.
