White Willow Bark Tincture

Uses: White Willow Bark eases aches and pains, headache, arthritis, fever, inflammation and menstrual cramps. It is a supportive medicine for symptoms of common cold and flu. White willow contains salicin, a natural chemical similar to aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid). In combination with the herb's powerful anti-inflammatory compounds (flavonoids), salicin offers powerful pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects. In contrast to aspirin, willow bark is much gentler on the system and does not damage the gastrointestinal mucosa. This tincture is extracted with high quality organic vodka. Alcohol allows for the most effective extraction of plant properties while preserving the herbal preparation much longer than water or glycerin extraction methods.
